The Breast Health and Healing Foundation is pleased to introduce one of most innovative and useful programs available for the iPhone, Blackberry and Android platforms, Lobby Me.

Lobby Me allows the user to send emalls directly to their lawmakers on Capitol Hill. The user enters their zip code which then pulls up the names, addresses and phone numbers of their two senators and representative in Congress.

The user then has the option of sending a direct email to anyone of their lawmakers. Lobby Me also has its own Facebook, Twitter, Word Press, Amplify and Linked In sites so that those who have not downloaded the app can nevertheless participate in activity related to the app via multiple social networking sites.

Additionally, the use, may also access their own social networking sites if they wish.

The goal of Lobby Me is to energize the public to greater participation in the political process, restore accountability to lawmakers on Capitol Hill, and (hopefully) turn every phone in the country into a virtual voting booth, 24/7/365.

100% of the profits from the sale of Lobby Me will be used to support research on the breast virus and the preventive breast cancer vaccine.

The Breast Health and Healing Foundation is pleased to introduce one of most innovative and useful programs available for the iPhone, Breast Health GPS. The primary feature of the Breast Health GPS application is to locate the nearest certified mammogram screening centers.

It uses a GPS system to do this and, in so doing, directly promotes the early diagnosis of breast cancer, thereby increasing breast cancer survival. The BREAST HEALTH GPS also allows the user to upload photos for posting to the theresa quilt, a free on-line virtual quilt dedicated to breast cancer survivors.

The iPhone app also connects the user to the Breast Health & Healing Foundation website and to the social networking sites of its president, Dr. Kathleen T. Ruddy, where you can find up-to-the-minute information on breast cancer research — especially the discovery of the causes of breast cancer and ways to prevent the disease.

The Breast Health GPS also includes a catalog of breast cancer related wallpapers for use on the iphone. The Breast Health GPS is dedicated to the pink virus project, an initiative of the breast health & healing foundation whose goal is to answer the question, "does a virus cause breast cancer in women?" within five years.

Found this app online and downloaded it for my wife. Neither of us could understand why someone would not have created something as simple and useful as this application. We would have gladly paid for this app, but amazingly it's free. It's got some good info about breast cancer along with a great tool for finding the nearby medical centers, clinics, etc that provide mammogram services. The background wallpapers are a great touch too. All around great app.

The primary feature of The Breast Health and Healing Foundation's I Promise You application is to provide the user with the latest news about breast cancer research.

This application allows you to tweet and share on Facebook the most current research on breast cancer with others in the social media space.

Included in the application are videos, audio clips, and access to the Breast Health & Healing Foundation website and blog. The I Promise You application graphically tracks statistics related to the incidence and mortality from breast cancer around the world, and provides information about the 10 most important pieces of information the user needs to know about breast cancer.

I Promise You connects the user to multiple social networking sites such as Linked-In, My Space, and Amplify. The application is dedicated to researching the underlying causes of breast cancer with the goal of using that knowledge to prevent the disease.
